Flathead Valley! The installations from Downtown Stories have been moved from their original business locations to inside our gallery.

Thank you for joining us at our modified opening reception held on Saturday November 7, 2020.

The installations will be on display through January 2021. Our exhibitions are always free and open to the public.

Downtown Stories was a collaboration between Kalispell businesses and local artists who have been paired together and worked together to create temporary art installations that can be experienced at each participating business location.  KALICO asked the artists to design an installation that tells the story of the business’ history.  These works of art can be viewed by the public anytime during October 2-9, whether the business is opened or closed. However, that’s not all! 

In addition to telling stories and sharing the history of commerce in Kalispell, KALICO invited anyone and everyone to photograph the installations however they saw fit and with the help of Instyprints, KALICO will be printing and displaying the creative photographs in the front window gallery for every passersby in our community to see!  Did you take some photos?
